Host homes stand at the heart of the Uncommon Neighbor vision: Building resilient communities through intentional relationships.

Host homes provide safe, stable housing and mentorship to individuals who are especially vulnerable to crisis, displacement, or chronic hardship due to income below a sustainable living wage.

Host homes are more than a place to stay—they are an expression of hospitality, dignity, and shared humanity.

Hosts intentionally choose to live missionally, seeing their home as a place of purpose where they can actively love their neighbors and be part of meaningful transformation.

With training, support, and community connection, host families offer a stable and supportive environment where trust can grow, stories can be shared, and lives can be restored.
